Company Overview
At Home Energy Medics, our passion is home comfort & efficiency! We LOVE to help our clients find ways to make their home what they have always wanted…….and be comfortable in it.
Our auditors visit homes, evaluate, and test every part inside and out, top to bottom. We perform A LOT of tests! Some that are included are Blower Door, Use of IR Camera, Safety Combustion Testing, Smoke Pen Test, Balometer, Manometer, Duct Testing, And more!
After the evaluation and testing has been completed, the auditor will put together a fully comprehensive report of his data/findings, an Action Plan that gives the client a “list of fixes” to work from and finally a Proposal with costs to improve the homes comfort and efficiency.
Finally, we are a Class A Contractor in VA, DC and MD…..which means we can actual FIX the homes we test and evaluate. We do things the right way, the first time and will be here when you need us..PERIOD!
The cost of the audit depends on the square footage of your home but regardless of what you pay, if you decide to have the work done with us, we will use the fee from your original audit as a credit on your retrofit work…pretty great right?!
All of our work is 3rd party certified by Pearl. You will receive a Certificate, Lender and Appraiser Letter after the work is done and in addition to that, we are the Home Performance with Energy Star Contractor of the Year award winner! (only 6 of which were awarded in the COUNTRY)… and we are super proud of this achievement.
Company History
Home Energy Medics has been in business for over 10 years! We started as a side business and have evolved into a full-time, full-service home Energy and Comfort Audit Assessment Firm. We evaluate, test, diagnose, propose and correct our clients homes and improve their living space one home at a time. We love what we do and know that you will too!
