Ideal Energy is a full-service home energy efficiency and HVAC contractor serving the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro region, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler. Ideal Energy was founded because we wanted to do something that had a positive impact on people's lives and the environment. After noticing that one Arizona house would use two or three times more energy than a house of the same exact size, we realized that the amount of energy people were using wasn't always caused by occupant behavior. In many cases, it is the actual construction of the home that causes energy to be wasted.
We recognize that buildings work as a system, and if one component is thrown off, the entire building doesn't function as it's supposed to. This causes high bills, uneven temperatures in the home, and poor indoor air quality. We take pride in being able to solve these issues.

We are fully licensed, bonded and insured General Contractors (license # 266440, KB-2), but we go the extra step and are also licensed HVAC contractors (license # 276318, C-39R). This ensures that each aspect of the job--be it home insulation, HVAC, duct sealing, air sealing, home automation, or otherwise--lives up to our rigorous standards. We're a fully accredited home energy efficiency and HVAC contractor.

Company History
Founded in 2009 by Alex Williams and Elena Chrimat while Alex was working at a Phoenix based solar electric company doing residential solar sales. While looking at customers' usage, he noticed that two homes that were the same floor plan and square footage were using different amounts of energy; some homes excessively using energy! That's when they discovered the concept of home performance and realized the need to fix a home's insulation, ductwork and HVAC systems. From there, Elena went on to become BPI Certified and volunteered with a local weatherization company to gain some hands on knowledge. The two of them and a friend of theirs from college worked together fixing homes on the weekends and finally, in 2011, the company really took off and they have been serving the Arizona market ever since!
